 As reported by Emmanuel Fahri:

 The bug is: in the NeXus API tutorial, it is mentioned that groups may
 have attributes. Indeed, the 'class' is stored as an attributes in hdf5
 files. However, the NXputattr only works with SDS or the root level.
 Storing attributes in an opened group stores them in the root.
