 Hi,

 there is a minor build problem at Mac OS X in that the jpeg library is not
 linked in when
 building applications, for example nxdir. There is a workaround: set
 LDFLAGS to -L/path/to/lib -ljpeg sorts the isue.

 The testsuite failed me on nxtranslate. The problem was not nxtranslate
 but the fact that my
 system lacked wget. Installing wget solved this issue. I wonder if we
 should test for this.
