 There is a hard coded path that contains "linux" - which needs to be
 "darwin" on OS X.
 Also, unlike Linux, in which ITT has labeled the 32-bit directory
 bin.linux.x86 on a Mac, they call it bin.darwin.i386!

 We may need to allow people to choose whether to build the 32 or 64
 bindings on a Mac as both libraries are there in IDL.  (We may also have
 the same problem on Linux)
