 It would be useful (for the case of large files) to have the tree
 structure of the file stored within the file as it can take minutes just
 to do a tree walk of the file.

 I am going to develop a command line tool to parse the file, and create an
 NXnote (called $ENTRYNAME_tree) at the top level for each NXentry that
 contains just a list of paths and class names.

 This will go into the contrib/applications directory.
