 this symbol
 #define ATTR "ATTR"
 is being defined twice in nxdir.h and data_writer.cpp (which includes
 nxdir.h)
 Fix: remove the definition in data_writer.cpp

 Systems and compilers:
 Windows 7, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
 Mac PPC G4 OS 10.5 , gcc 4.0.1
