 H5T_class_t tclass;
 size_t     size;
 H5T_sign_t sign;

 Nexus Settings: --with-hdf5
 Systems and compilers tested:
 GNU/Linux x86_64 gcc 4.4.2
 Windows 7, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
