#252: Addition of tree interface to the Python bindings
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
Reporter: Ray Osborn | Owner: Ray Osborn
     Type: enhancement | Status: new
 Priority: major | Milestone:
Component: python bindings | Version: 4.2.0
 Keywords: |
-----------------------------+----------------------------------------------
This is the first commit of the tree interface (tree.py and unit.py),
first written by Paul Kienzle and then modified by Ray Osborn to allow
interactive creation and manipulation of NeXus objects. This commit
followed discussions at the NeXus Code Camp, where it was decided that the
tree interface should be part of the core bindings to encourage wider use.
However, this is only the first version and unit tests have not yet been
written, so it should be considered as a beta version if it becomes part
of a new NeXus point release.
