 NeXus currently supports only a single unlimited
 array dimension (specified via NX_UNLIMITED), but
 HDF5 supports multiple unlimited array dimensions.

 Hi Pete,

 One thing that would be nice to add to the NeXus API is support for the
 H5S_UNLIMITED dimension.  This would allow NeXus files to be used to
 collect data where the number of arrays is not known in advance.  It
 would allow the areaDetector NeXus plugin to be used to collect frames
 for as long as desired and then stop.  This can currently be done with
 the areaDetector HDF5 file plugin, but not with the NeXus file plugin.

 I am not certain that this is due to a limitation of the current NeXus
 API (or just the areaDetector NeXus plugin), but I think it is.
