Dear colleagues,
The first meeting of the NeXus Advisory Committee will be held at the
California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California, USA, from 1:30pm
September 8 to 12:30pm, September 10, 2003. Meetings of the Advisory
Committee are open to anyone who is interested in the future of the NeXus
data format, although only members of the committee will have the right to
vote on any issues that arise. We encourage active participation in all
discussions by members of the neutron, x-ray, and muon communities. If you
cannot attend, please check out the NeXus Swiki at
<http://www.neutron.anl.gov.:8080/NeXus> and feel free to add any comments
there. As the meeting approaches, the main issues will be debated in
advance on those pages.

If you are interested in attending the meeting, please submit the brief
registration form at <http://www.neutron.anl.gov/nexus/NeXus_2003.html>,
where further details of the meeting are available. You may also be
interested in the SciPy workshop that will be held at Cal Tech on Sept. 11
and 12 (see <http://www.scipy.org/> for more details).

With best regards,
Ray Osborn
