[NeXus-committee] Action items from the LBL meeting

Freddie and Peter,

I'm happy with both your suggestions. I would like to see them documented on
the wiki, on the FAQ or Introduction page.

A NIAC actions page would have to be managed in a similar way to TRAC issues
for it to be useful. It would require a process to close the action, which
should then be filed under closed actions. Otherwise we will have the
proverbial dog's breakfast of open and closed issues.

On a similar point, the discussion pages are useful for gathering the
communities thoughts. However, it is difficult to track how the discussion
issue was resolved. You might remember my request a few months ago regarding
having an explicit geometry specification. There is an implicit geometry
spec in Nxdetector based on mcstas coordinates, and a discussion about the
geometry spec with no resolution.

Regards,

Nick.
