#88: add new required attribute to NXDL root element

 Propose addition of an additional attribute to each NXDL's
 root element (definition) that tells in which category the
 class is defined (base class, application definition,
 or contributed definition).

 This will simplify some steps in the XSLT transformations.
 Right now, there is no way for the XSLT routines to know
 which category of definition applies.
