 As the `axis` scheme should in principle use Fortran order for dimensions
 (this is quite explicit in parts of the manual, but still wrong in
 official examples) I do not like our proposed scheme based on an extension
 to `axis` any more.

 I've got an `axes` '''field''' in NXdata now that holds the information.
 This way neither the detector nor the positioners need to be aware of the
 particularities of the scan they are involved in (in case they share part
 of the file writing burden).
