 need a (NeXus developer's) tool to show the existence of recursion and
 orphaned classes in NXDL specifications

 The primary output of this tool can be either text or XML or restructured
 text, depending on the potential use.  This could be an appendix in the
 manual.  Perhaps XML output.  Then multiple re-use of the result via XSLT.
