  I recently became aware of this issue with an inhouse problem. I 
  postponed fixing it until Uwe is back from holidays (on Monday) because
  he certainly can fix this faster then me. There may be a problem with
  HDF-5 which I'am not aware of but I think in the worst case we have to
  do a full directory scan on the first NXgetnextentry  and store it for 
  further usage.

  If this is really urgent however, I will look into it.
