Actually, I think the distribution is fine, but 'make distcheck' did have
problems cleaning up the Fortran 90 module files:

ERROR: files left after distclean:
./bindings/f90/libNeXus90.la_orig
./bindings/f90/nxmodule.mod
./bindings/f90/nxumodule.mod

I'm not sure if this is worth worrying about, unless someone can fix it
easily.  Presumably, the best thing will be to produce a distribution, and
ask people to test it on their own systems.  We can do this when the
remaining java issues have been resolved.

Nearly there - although the README files are now completely out of date.
