[Nexus] NAPI status and Python bindings

Hi folks,
  Freddy closed the last pending issue for the 4.4.1 release today. As
all tests are green on my boxes, I will release 4.4.1 tomorrow.

The Python bindings made some substential progress and I guess it is
time to run the first tests ;)
