[NeXus-committee] Closing of separate nexus-developers mailing list

At the recent NIAC 2012 meeting it was decided to close the nexus-developers at nexusformat.org mailing list. The members of this list are a subset of the general nexus at nexusformat.org list and nexus-developers was originally intended for NeXus programming API related matters, but with increased use of directly writing NeXus from HDF5 (e.g. via h5py) a separate list was felt to be no longer required. The presence of the developer list could also lead to confusion about where to post messages concerning e.g. NeXus Application Definitions, which are of more widespread interest than just that list. Though the developer list is now closed to new postings, previous messages can still be accessed via the archive http://lists.nexusformat.org/pipermail/nexus-developers/
