Okay, the vote is closed. The only two options that received any votes were "Tobias Suggestion" and "The General Case" with 3 and 2 votes respectively.
The idea was to limit the number of options and scrutinize the most popular option(s) for feasibility and how well they fit the requirements.
For the moment I'll just impartially report the result and engage in discussions later. (Time constraints today mainly.)
Regards,
Tobias

Subject: [NeXus-committee] non binding vote on recording multiple detector modules
Please vote on your preferred solution to record multiple detector modules and address the concerns raised by DECTRIS.
The outcome will help to narrow down the discussion and allow us to focus on technical detail (of required).
For more background see the mailing list archive http://lists.nexusformat.org/pipermail/nexus/2012/thread.html and the Wiki:
http://wiki.nexusformat.org/Main_Page/NXdetector_2012_10
To move on with the discussion and since this is not a binding motion, we will close the vote next Wednesday, 14th November.

BALLOT
I prefer the following solution, described in more detail on the above wiki page, for recording spatially separate detector modules:
[ ] Use NXgeometry
[ ] NXdetector_element
[ ] Tobias Suggestion
[ ] SNS Usage
[ ] The General Case
Please indicate you choice by deleting entries or making with an X. Multiple options are allowed at this point.
