[NeXus-committee] RFC on ack funding issue

Hi everyone,

This is a request for a quick indication of people's support for issue 
#1564 "Support for acknowledging funding":

     https://github.com/nexusformat/definitions/issues/1564

For example, just adding a thumbs up or thumbs down emoji against the 
issue's description would be fine.

If you don't understand the context, please add a comment in the issue 
and I'll try to elaborate, or fix the issue's description.

I'm writing because I would like to gauge whether this is something that 
resonates with people, or whether this is something that people feel 
doesn't belong in NeXus.  I'd like this feedback before developing a 
pull request.
