[NeXus-committee] Open sessions and talks in NIAC 2026?

Hi folks, we discussed in the Telco today making the first two sessions of
day 1 (Friday Sept 25 <https://indico.xfel.eu/event/2/overview>) open for
general interest, including talks.  Specifically, sessions A and B
(10am-noon, and 13:30-15:30, local time) would include three 20-minute
talks and an hour for discussion from general users.  We would send a call
for abstracts to the larger community, inviting external speakers who use
NeXus.  The discussion sessions would solicit feedback and suggestions.

We already know that there is interest from some folks already planning to
attend NOBUGS so this seems like a good opportunity.  The reason to do two
sessions would be to allow people attending other satellite meetings a
chance to join a session they can attend.
