[NeXus-committee] NeXus Ontology release pipeline and redirects

Dear Heike and Aaron,

Following up after the discussion in the OSCARS project meeting about a PaNET inspired release pipeline and redirects for NeXus Ontology, here is where things stand.

I have built a pipeline<https://github.com/FAIRmat-NFDI/NeXusOntology/blob/r2025_11/.github/workflows/release.yml> that generates the NeXus Ontology from the release tags of the definitions such that each gets its own matching ontology release (these are currently on the FAIRmat-NFDI/NeXusOntology<https://github.com/FAIRmat-NFDI/NeXusOntology> fork). Currently one needs to manually trigger the pipeline. When it runs, it builds the ontology and its documentation, does a few checks, then publishes it as a proper GitHub release<https://github.com/FAIRmat-NFDI/NeXusOntology/releases> with the generated files (owl, ttl, n-triples, json-ld) attached directly, the same way PaNET does it.

The documentation<https://fairmat-nfdi.github.io/NeXusOntology/v2026.01/index-en.html> is versioned too. Each release keeps its own page, and there is a "latest<https://fairmat-nfdi.github.io/NeXusOntology/latest/index-en.html>" that always points at whichever one is newest, so older versions<https://fairmat-nfdi.github.io/NeXusOntology/v2025.11/index-en.html> stay reachable instead of getting overwritten the next time something ships. Furthermore, individual terms are also resolved to their own section in the documentation, for example NXentry<https://fairmat-nfdi.github.io/NeXusOntology/v2026.01/index-en.html#NXentry>. The seeAlso links to manual.nexusformat.org that are already in the ontology now actually show up in the generated documentation as clickable links. Before they were being generated but were not rendering. So that is fixed as well.

One thing to note: The w3id redirects (for example: https://w3id.org/PaN/NeXus/definitions/v2026.01) are not live yet since that PR has not been merged. Additionally, everything has been built and tested against FAIRmat-NFDI fork's GitHub Pages in the meantime and the redirects point there<https://github.com/Tanmay2028/w3id.org/blob/5ed80a8ff6b4442d24307a5b31cd886c9cea0ae6/ids/PaN/NeXus/.htaccess> for now.

Could you please take a look at these PRs and suggest changes, if any?
