 The example data from Soleil uses a class called {{{NXtechnical_data}}} to
 record various scalar items (metadata from the instrument).  Since the
 NeXus rules say not to use NX as a prefix unless the NIAC has approved it,
 then we need to create and approve such a class.  This is used as a base
 class.
