I have created accounts for some of the main developers, but anybody who
is interested is free to create one via the link on

http://nexus.isis.rl.ac.uk/

The link to submit and query bugs is also on this page - you need an
account to submit a bug but not to query

Bugs have an "assigned person" (the one working on them) and a "qa
(quality assurance) contact" (somebody to monitor developments) - in our
case a bug is initially assigned to "nexus" with qa contact of
"nexusqa". The account "nexus" is a generic one while the bugs is "NEW",
and somebody else should take ownership of the bug and become the
assigned person rather than "nexus". Bugzilla has a system where you can
watch accounts - who you are watching is detailed in the comma separated
list on your account preference (once you have logged in) via

http://bugs.isis.rl.ac.uk/userprefs.cgi?tab=email

You may want to have this blank, "nexus" "nexus, nexusqa" or "nexusqa"
When a bug is entered it is assigned to "nexus" with QA contact
"nexusqa", so anybody watching either "nexusqa" or "nexus" will get
informed. Once the bug has been accepted by somebody the "nexus" account
will no longer be associated with the bug and only accounts watching
"nexusqa" will continue to get emails when the bug changes (this is in
addition to the person who is working on it and the person who reported
it of course). Thus depending on whether you only want to get initial or
all mails about bugs in general choose to have "nexus" or "nexusqa" in
your watch list. If you are only watching "nexus" but a bug is submitted
that you are interested in following for its whole lifetime, you can
always add yourself to the "Cc:" list for the bug - do this via the
"Advanced Editing" page of the bug concerned.

I am a bit "in and out" of the office this week, but will try and
improve the page and notes - hopefully this is enough to get us started
but I will need to have it tidied up properly for when the world at
large will start using it.

Freddie
