just a few remarks:
contrib/bindings/nxpylib is NOT another python interface to NeXus, but it sits 
on top of the contrib/bindings/nxpython bindings.
its an approach to put an OO-like interface on top of the core python library.
but i wouldnt recommend using "nxpylib" from my todays point of view, as its 
usage is not quite intuitive and u may get odd results if you dont know 
exactly what u're doing. 
i guess that in general its probably not a good idea to build something 
oo-like on top of a state machine like NeXus.
