[Nexus-developers] SZIP support for NeXus

Hello,

SZIP compression in HDF is supposed to be significantly faster than other methods (see http://www.hdfgroup.org/doc_resource/SZIP/ ) 

I am starting to experiment with adding SZIP support to NeXus - would it be possible to add that to NeXus? According to the HDF website, SZIP is included in HDF5 1.6 and later, though there are licensing terms for commercial use of the compressor (the decompressor is free for any use including commercial). Would these cause a problem?
