Pete,

That looks good. I think NXobject is the right thing for it to extend at
the moment though as NXdetector_group contains no two_theta etc.
information that the current NXdetector has and a single
NXdetector_group could refer to several NXdetectors

Attached is a proposed NXdetector_group NXDL specification (it
validates).
Perhaps it should extend NXdetector instead of NXobject.

Should we add it to base_classes as Freddie suggests?
