NeXus Teleconference Week 16 2014

Axes verification
==============

This is about validating that certain fields have all the attributes required 
for a NeXus axis. 
This resolved by some combination of:
 
* XML validation
* Some extra code for validating the attributes. The depends_on chain anyway 
  can only be validated in code.

NXpoise
==========

NXpoise gets renamed to NXtransformations. Everyone seemed to be happy about this.


Repository Cleanup for Debian 
======================

Some old stuff had amassed in the NeXus code repositories.

It was decided to remove:
* NXplot, maintained elsewhere
* Old windows dll's, relict of old buils systems
* NXformat_fdn, superseded by NXDL software
plus some other outdated build scripts.

NXslit and NXpinhole
==================

Will be prepared for voting. 

Case Issue
=========

There was a little issue if we allow upper case field and group names. 
This was resolved to:

* Lower case is the recommendation. We accept upper case. A validator may throw warnings about 
  upper case names though.
* The UTF8 character set is mandatory
