[NeXus-tech] PX Summary

Hi all,

I was on leave for a few days. I did commit the current status of that application definition to the definitions repository, but then failed to notify anyone of that. You'll find it in the contributed section for now.

There are a couple of things that would require some attention before calling it final (in addition to the science/cbf mapping issues). One is to pin down the allowed dimensions for datasets so you can reliably align the indices. By the looks that only works in an ugly way through xsd, maybe nxdl could do with a nicer way. The other problem is the depends_on field (or attribute) only holds a generic string, nothing that indicates a functional validation should attack here.

In case this message appears out of sync: I'm still going through my email backlog.

Regards,
Tobias

Dear Mark,

Tobias has a draft of the application definition that I think looks pretty good for a functional mapping, and we are working on the documentation for both the functional mapping and how it fits into the full mapping.

     Herbert
