Hi,
I have a problem building NeXus (RPM build) using latest *.src.rpm and *.tar.gz on RHEL5 (x86_64)
I tried two systems:
1. Scientific Linux SL release 5.0 (Boron)
Linux perun 2.6.18-194.8.1.el5 #1 SMP Thu Jul 1 16:05:53 EDT 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
2. Red Hat Enterprise Linux Client release 5.6 (Tikanga)
Linux gluon.ornl.gov 2.6.18-238.1.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Jan 4 13:32:19 EST 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
1. SRPM
http://download.nexusformat.org/kits/rpm/nexus-4.2.1-0.src.rpm
$ rpmbuild -ba Incoming/nexus-4.2.1-0.src.rpm
Installing Incoming/nexus-4.2.1-0.src.rpm

error: Incoming/nexus-4.2.1-0.src.rpm cannot be installed
2. TAR GZ
$ rpmbuild -ba Incoming/nexus-4.2.1.tar.gz
....
+ cp -pr README NEWS ChangeLog AUTHORS COPYING INSTALL /var/tmp/nexus-4.2.1/usr/share/doc/nexus-4.2.1
+ exit 0
Processing files: nexus-debuginfo-4.2.1-0
Provides: libNeXus.so.0.4.2.debug()(64bit) libNeXusCPP.so.0.4.2.debug()(64bit)
Requires(rpmlib): rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1 rpmlib(PayloadFilesHavePrefix) <= 4.0-1
Checking for unpackaged file(s): /usr/lib/rpm/check-files /var/tmp/nexus-4.2.1
RPM build errors:
File not found by glob: /var/tmp/nexus-4.2.1/usr/lib/python*/site-packages/nxs
Now when I comment
/usr/lib/python*/site-packages/nxs
- from nexus.spec things seem to build again. Is that line important? It's not in 4.2.0.
Thanks
Piotr
