 I have not changed anything in the files "configure.ac", "aclocal.m4" and
 "acinclude.m4". The syntax of the configure command I use:
  $ ./configure --prefix=/home/scarf006/nexus-4.0-dist/ --with-cxx
 --without-fortran --with-hdf5=/home/scarf006/hdf5/ CC=gcc CXX=g++ --with-
 java-home=/apps/java/jdk1.6.0_01 JAVAC=/apps/java/jdk1.6.0_01/bin/javac
 JAVA=/apps/java/jdk1.6.0_01/bin/java
 JAVAH=/apps/java/jdk1.6.0_01/bin/javah

 The version of Linux OS:
 Linux scarf.rl.ac.uk 2.6.9-42.0.10.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Feb 16 17:13:42 EST
 2007 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
