Comment (by Pete Jemian):

 A Google search suggests that the version of hyperref might be out of
 date.  The Sphinx developer (Georg Brandl) had some questions about the
 addition of the \autopageref and (\autopageref*) commands to the LaTeX
 hyperref package.
