Hi Heike,
    This might be nitpicking language a bit, but I think it is important 
to be clear. Your intended use of the NeXus format is not "out of scope" 
at all, it is just an area that hasn't seen much dedicated work 
previously, due to limited resources. I think everyone will agree that 
we are happy to see you using NeXus in this way and we appreciate you 
making this effort to do things "correctly". You can expect strong 
support from the NeXus community.
