None of the above solves the issue of getting the wrong parent when 
asking the retrieved node so, it is basically "cosmetics" in order not 
to have datasets hanging at the root level.

If one wants to be picky, if one considers they did not put it inside an 
NXdata group, it should not be there either :-)

Either I do not understand it or I do not see a point on this one. If 
the attribute is at the target side (it is not possible to put it at the 
link side) it does not tell anything new to the information one 
retrieves from the target.
