[NeXus-committee] Call for subcommittee members in prep for NIAC 2026

Hi folks, as discussed in today's telco, we'd like to do some prep work
ahead of our Sept 2026 meeting, especially given that we only have 2 full
NIAC-only days (though I expect lots of discussion in our public NIAC day,
where again we have 11 submitted talks!!).

To this end, we'd like to organize two subcommittees, 3 members per
subcommittee with a chair each.  We'd hope the subcommittees could meet
once in July and once in August outside of the regular NIAC telco.  The
committees and their charges would be:

   1. Pull requests and issues: which of these can we work out ahead of the
   NIAC meeting?  What areas of discussion could we have ahead of time or
   should we reserve for the NIAC meeting?  Can we move some PRs to be ready
   for an in-person vote in September?  What PRs and issues can be closed?
   2. Contributed definitions: which of these are ready to be promoted to
   base classes/application definitions?  Is it possible to find some of the
   original authors and find out if they are being used?

The committees would report back in a special NIAC Telco in early
September, which would help us set our agenda for our NIAC-only sessions.
If we can get some stuff done ahead of time, we can take best advantage of
our in-person, biennial meeting.

So, let's hear some volunteers!  If I get crickets, I'll start sending
requests to join a subcommittee, so be warned :D
