(as noted before, now posting to nexus-tech at nexusformat.org)
I have declared "victory" on the recent NIAC meeting status.
Where are the declarations for things such as NX_CHAR and NX_BINARY?
These have not yet made it into the nxdl.xsd file.
Two examples:
<xs:simpleType name="type_NX_CHAR">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>any string representation</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:restriction base="xs:string" />
</xs:simpleType>
<xs:simpleType name="type_NX_BINARY">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>binary data</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:restriction base="xs:uint8" />
</xs:simpleType>

"clock_pulses" : NX_PULSES
"g cm-3" : NX_MASS_DENSITY
"cm -2" : NX_PER_AREA
"MW" : NX_MOLECULAR_WEIGHT
