NeXus tech committee members:

Recently, in discussions about the future directions of EPICS, a web
tool was used to allow people to decide the relative importance of two
different ideas randomly chosen from a list of proposed ideas.

Such an opinion poll has been created for some of the topics facing
NeXus today. The initial list of items was assembled from a subset of
TRAC tickets and some recent discussions. You are encouraged to try
this out.

This is a continuous opinion survey where the questions are presented to
you in a random sequence. Continue to cast votes until you grow tired
of it. The individual votes are not available to you, but a summary
score is provided on the results page. (Interesting feature there is a
world map of the votes.) You may also submit ideas of your own for
presentation.

View the results at this page:

If you think it useful, we can expand this to the NIAC or the entire
NeXus community (that is my intent but maybe that, too, should be one of
the items).

Pete
