Hi,

Jens Uwe forwarded me this document on what the HDRI people in
Germany are up to. To remind you: the HDRI initiative tries, among
many other things, to define a data format for the german research
institutions.

Eugen has some interesting ideas and as he is a NIAC member, I hope
he will discuss his ideas with us. I especially liked the last section 
on validating
application definitions. 

This document is still in discussion and not for further distribution.
