[Nexus] hdf4 and cygwin

Peter and Freddie,
Thank you for responding. I have already tried the building from the
hdf4 source rpm available at nexus.anl.gov/nexus_api.html#download and
from the tar.gz source available at
http://www.sat.uni-bremen.de/arts/wiki/ArtsCygwin. I attach my error
logs from each case (same problems on two different machines (latest XP
and cygwin). Any ideas would be appreciated.
