Hello,
I'm Takahiro Matsumoto from SPring-8.
Now I'm working on unification of XAS data format in JAPAN.
(SPring-8, KEK-PF, Aichi-SR,...)
For open data, we consider to deposit facility data into
data repository prepared by data platform center in NIMS, Japan.
Current discussion is base on text format.
However, we may need to use binary format
if we extend larger data with various detectors
(fluorescence detection, mirco XAS etc.)
and NeXus will be appropriate option.
I would like to ask you to provide information
about practical cases for XAS data with NeXus format.
I found templates for XAS below.
Nxxas: http://download.nexusformat.org/doc/html/classes/applications/NXxas.html
Nxxasproc: http://download.nexusformat.org/doc/html/classes/applications/NXxasproc.html#nxxasproc
But is this practically used in your facilities?
If you have information on XAS related data format with NeXus.
could you let me know for our discussion in Japan?
I contacted Benjamin Watts, and noticed
Nxstxm can be used for raw XAS data for example.

I would appreciate for your help.
