[NeXus-committee] apropos manuscript: could we please disentangle base_class|application_definition from accepted|contributed

I would like to ask for a resolution on
   https://github.com/nexusformat/definitions/issues/298:

We should disentangle category (base_class|application_definition)
from status (accepted|contributed).
