[Nexus-developers] Thread-safety of HDF5, NeXus

Hello,

I just found out that the usual binaries of HDF5 are NOT thread-safe even when accessing DIFFERENT files from separate threads in the same process. However, the HDF libraries CAN be built in a thread-safe way:

My question is: does NeXus use the thread-safe version of HDF5 (I suspect no)? And if not, can it?
